Donna Carol Foor, 77, of Richmond passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer.

Donna was born Nov. 27, 1946, in Carrollton, the daughter of Donald W. and Viola “Vi” Maxine (Halterman) Heil.

She was first united in marriage to James D. McBee of Braymer. She was later united in marriage to Charles “Charley” Foor of Tower Hill, Ill., on Aug. 12, 1989. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include her three sons, Timothy (Linda) McBee of Herrick, Ill., Brian (Kelly) McBee of Richmond and Brad (Amanda) McBee of Excelsior Springs; and two stepsons, Bradley (Diana) Foor of Neoga, Ill., and Clint (Marla) Foor of Tower Hill.

Other survivors include 13 grandchildren, Mark (Nurilia) McBee, Stephanie (Micah) Slifer, Emily McBee, Hannah McBee, Jacob McBee, Ayrin McBee, Taylor Mustard, Zebadiah McBee, Kimberly (Caleb) Dick, Crystal (Chris) Holmes, Kayla (Jeff) Deters, Olivia (Evan) Preston and Alicia Foor; and 10 greatgrandchildren, Paul McBee, Prim McBee, Tailynn Slifer, Owen Slifer, Malachi Slifer, William Riedel, Cody Dick, Cameron Dick, Charlotte Deters and Calvin Deters.

She also leaves behind two sisters, Karen (David) Durham of Hardin and Jan Blankenship of Camden; three nieces, Kristen (Matias Travizano) Durham, Rachel Blankenship and Kathryn (James) Koenig; a nephew, Kyle (Courtney) Durham; and four great-nephews, Simeon Durham, Elijah Durham, Kai Travizano and Mackenzie Koenig.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Brian Blankenship.

Donna was reared and educated in her hometown, graduating in 1964 from Norborne High School.

Following high school, she attended Draughn Business College in Kansas City, though her most treasured role would become that of a housewife and homemaker, dedicated to raising and caring for her family. Her sons were the center of her world, and she found immense joy in staying involved with her grandchildren’s lives.

Donna had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved dogs, and a special appreciation for the beauty of nature. She enjoyed bird watching, spending time outdoors and creating various crafts.

Donna was a faithful Christian, baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne, where her faith remained an important part of her life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Donna Foor Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home; 507 E. Main St.P.O. Box 190; Richmond, MO 64085.

Inurnment will be at a later date by the family. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
