Over the past few weeks, the Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce has been actively engaged in promoting various local events, expanding its networking activities and extending a warm welcome to new businesses in the area. Serving as a strong advocate for the local economy, the chamber effectively facilitates collaborations among businesses, non-profit organizations, charitable entities and local leaders. The primary goal is nurturing economic expansion and creating dynamic, thriving communities. United Fiber recently organized an official chamber ribbon-cutting ceremony at Shirkey Golf Course to mark the successful completion of the fiber installation project. The event was attended by prominent local figures, such as Mayor Mike Wright, City Administrator Tonya Willim, and state Representative Terry Thompson, along with chamber members and dedicated volunteers.
