Vicky Roberts
Vicky Marie Roberts, 67, of Richmond passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, at Liberty Hospital. Vicky was surrounded by those she loved the most – her family. Vicky was born March 10, 1957, in Lafayette County, the daughter of Charles Edward and Geraldine (Fauver) McGinnis. She was united in marriage to Randall “Randy” Lloyd Roberts of Richmond on March 1, 1983. He survives of the home. They raised their three children: Steve, Kristy and Jeremy.
Later, Vicky met Marvin Moore, who assisted in raising four grandchildren and helped watch many more throughout their beloved companionship.
Survivors include her two sons, Steve (Trina) Johnson and Jeremy (Teresa) Judd; daughter, Kristy Glenn (Dennis Justus); and 15 grandchildren, Lilly, Brennen, AJ, Danny, Ben (Kat), Alayna (Martin), Maggie (Cole), Keith, Kobe (Haley), Kiara (Dalton), James, Nicole (Dane), Jeremy, Lyla and Remy. Other survivors include her siblings: Carolyn, Mark, Connie and Gayle.
Many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Butch, Francis, Billy, Larry, David and Michael; best friend (niece), Cindy; and sister-in-law, Sharon.
Vicky was a kind soul who always saw the good in others. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. Taking care of her family was her greatest joy.
Vicky had three children, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who all were blessed to know she was just a phone call away, no matter the time of day. She didn’t know a stranger and was always willing to help those in need. Her love was unconditional for all those around. Her legacy will live on through not only her brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but also through all those she blessed throughout her lifetime.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Vicky Roberts Memorial Fund. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home; 507 E. Main St.-P.O. Box 190; Richmond, MO 64085.
A celebration of life will be held 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at the VFW Hall in Richmond. Rev. Aaron Manning will officiate. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
