The Myers Road bridge project is officially underway following initial invoice signing during a recent Ray County Commissioner’s meeting. The move came following a presentation of the initial renderings of the new bridge by Great River Engineering. The existing multi-span bridge — about 21 feet wide, multi-span, and around 132 feet long, and located on a 93-degree turn from the roadway — was rated poor and structurally deficient in a 2021 National Bridge Inventory report.
