Lawson man faces domestic assault charges

A Lawson man has posted a $5,000 bond after being charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor. Brett A. Williams, 32, has been charged with second-degree domestic assault, third-degree domestic assault and fourth degree domestic assault. Last week, a warrant was issued and served on Williams, with a bond of $5,000 and special conditions which include no contact with the victim, regular reporting to Missouri Supervision Solutions LLC, required testing for drug or alcohol use, not possessing a firearm or other deadly weapon and abstaining from possession or use of alcohol or any controlled substance. Williams was set to appear last week for his initial hearing, but because he posted bond before the hearing date, the time was changed to 9:30 a.m. on September 10.
