Ray County Coroner candidates Andrew Buck and Bart Willim, responded to questions during the recent Richmond News political forum. Willam’s daughter, Ashlee Kirkham, represented her father. Each candidate had two minutes for an introduction. Buck: “My name is Andrew Buck. Thank you for having me to the Richmond News, I appreciate this forum. Thank you all for coming out, great turnout. I’m a fourth-generation funeral director. I originally grew up in Southern Iowa, then moved to the Kansas City area to complete my mortuary science degree at Kansas City, Kansas. I got that done and started work in January of 2005. I worked in Raytown for 18 years before moving my family to Richmond in 2020. I commuted for two years back to Raytown and then was offered a position with Hidden Valley Funeral Home here in Ray and Clay counties. I accepted that position.
