Democrats Rich Gold and Pam May seek to become the democrat nominee for U.S. Representative District six in the November’s general election. The Richmond News asked each candidate a series of questions. BACKGROUND Gold: 49, of Mexico, has an associate of arts and is a retired veteran as well as a hotel owner. May: 65, of St. Joseph, graduated from Maryville R-II High School and obtained a Bachelor of Science in music education from Northwest Missouri State University. She is currently retired, but primarily worked as a legal secretary, with her longest tenure being with Legal Aid of Western Missouri. CANDIDATE QUESTIONS What qualifications do you bring to the table that make you suitable to be a U.S. Representative for Missouri’s District Six?
