Bravo Richmond! I have lived in Richmond only a year and am impressed with the various offerings to kids young and old. From the skateboard park to disk golf courses and regular golf course, bowling alley, tennis courts, various ball diamonds and youth sport facilities. Richmond has as much or more to offer than towns 10 times her size. I am also pleased by the support the schools receive and was blown away at the participation for the homecoming parade and various programs targeting kids at the Ray County Library. My latest pleasure was taking in the play “Beauty and the Beast” at the Farris Theater last weekend. First, the theater itself is amazing and much more than I expected. The 45 kids putting on the show did a terrific job and if you didn’t make it to one of the showings, you missed a great show!
