Ray Countian looks to spread love, revitalize old Henrietta church

Lifelong Ray County resident Beth Conner has taken it upon herself to spread love and positivity in her community by leading what she calls a “love-centered life.” Conner hopes to spread that love and positivity at the old Methodist church in Henrietta, where she lives. Eventually, she wants to hold dinners, camps, retreats and classes there, but it’s not ready for events like that yet, she said. “Hopefully, I could find a location that would work in the interim,” said Conner. The length and frequency of the events Conner wants to host will vary, she explained. Weekly courses, for example, will be about three hours each week for six to eight weeks. Conner wants to gear the courses and other events toward ages 14 and older. “I could teach younger ages, but I don’t necessarily think it would be received well,” she said. “I am, however, in the development process of children’s books, howto- type books and curriculum books that would cover teens and adults.” Conner’s goals for the…
