Community welcomes Dr. Amanda Healy
Ray County Memorial Hospital welcomes Dr.
Amanda Healy as the new Chief Medical Officer.
A Richmond alumnus, she graduated from Richmond High School in 1999. She attended and completed medical school at the University of Kansas, where she participated in the completion of the University of Kansas Undergraduate Honors Program, in 2003 and was a National Merit Scholarship Recipient in 1999-2003.
Dr. Healy is excited to be back in Richmond and filling a leadership
role.
“It was such good fortune that I was ready for something new, and Ray County Hospital and Healthcare had a need I could fulfill,” she said.
Her desire was to find a position that would allow her to grow in a leadership role and continue to provide patient care. Ray County Memorial Hospital was looking to expand their women’s health services and needed a physician administrator with her kind of
experience.
