A house explosion occurred Monday, November 27 at approximately 8 a.m. near Conservation Rd. in Richmond. Ray County Sheriff Scott Childers said Ray County Ambulance was first on the scene, then, a Ray County Sheriff Deputy, Stet Fire Department, State Fire Marshal shortly followed.

“Someone saw smoke and called. There was a man in his late 40s inside the home, and he was life-flighted to Research Medical Center,” said Childers. “The man suffers unknown injuries and this is under investigation currently.”
