Two Orrick residents were injured in a twovehicle collision on Route N, just north of Rock Falls Road in Orrick. The 5:22 p.m. June 8 call of a motor vehicle accident with injuries was answered by Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), Ray County Sheriff’s Office, Wood Heights Fire Department and Ray County Ambulance District (RCAD). According to reports from MSHP Sergeant D. KIine, Griffen Harris, 24, was traveling eastbound on Route N in a Chevrolet Cobalt when failing to yield to oncoming traffic. His vehicle was struck by Virginia Walker, 82, who was driving a Ford Focus. Both vehicles received extensive damage. Walker suffered moderate injuries and was transported by RCAD to Liberty Hospital. Harris, who was not wearing a safety device, had minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Ray County Memorial Hospital.
