Graduates bid farewell to RHS
Richmond High School (RHS) celebrated its graduating seniors with a ceremony filled with words of advice and reminiscing on the past four years. As the students marched in – some smiling and some nervous for the post-high school time –music played and families stood in honor of their graduates.
RHS Principal Brandon Quick shared his pride with the 2023 graduating class.
“Regardless of your career choices, graduates, I wish you the best of luck. I thank you for everything you’ve done for our school and you’re leaving big shoes to fill,” he said.
Quick then introduced faculty speaker and RHS P.E. teacher Colby Bowers.
Bowers spoke of the seniors going on to new possibilities and offered four pieces of advice that will assist the graduates in their new adventures:
• When someone says, “Do as I say, not as I did,” listen to them because their experience is your learning experience, mentioned Bowers.
• Write a ‘thank you’ note to everyone who attends your graduation party or anyone…
