Local designer receives awards
Town and Country Leader and Richmond News’ graphic artist has garnered four more awards to add to her collection from the Missouri Press Association’s annual awards banquet.
Karen Payne recently won four first-place awards for Best Full-Page Ad, Most Creative Use of Color in an Ad, Best Special Section and the Best Sponsored Content.
Payne received her awards during the banquet held in Springfield last month.
“It is an honor to receive awards, but it also means that you are at the top of your field and are doing competitive work among your peers,” mentioned Payne.
Along with these firstplace awards, Payne is no stranger to high accomplishments. Since 2011, Payne has won over 30 first-place awards and over 70 second and third place honors, as well as honorable mentions.
