Pursuit and foot chase leads to felony arrests
A north Ray County pursuit which turned into a foot chase, ended with the arrest of two Kansas City, Mo., residents on felony charges.
Ray County Sheriff Scott Childers said deputy Dustin Royse arrested Freddie Todd III, 37 and Michelle Trimble, 44, after an overnight pursuit last weekend.
“Royse did everything “textbook. He is mature and is good at what he does,” Childers said of the 21-year-old deputy.
Todd was charged with four felonies, including first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest by fleeing and tampering with physical evidence in the felony.
Trimble was charged with two felonies, which include possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence in the felony.
