Kristine Huff

Kristine Denise “Kris” Huff, 53, of Kansas City died May 5, 2023, as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident. Kris was born in Kansas City, Kan., and was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Huff. She is survived by her father, Richard Huff of Bates City; brothers, Tom Stewart and his wife Janet of Kansas City, Kan., and Scott Huff and his wife Joy of Odessa; stepfather, Dale Stewart, DVM, of Richmond; stepbrother, Jason Stewart and his family of San Diego; her Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Dusty; and a great number of friends and colleagues.

Kris was a commercial card sales manager with Enterprise Bank. She was an alumna of Richmond High School, graduating with the class of 1987.

Kris found great enjoyment in animals of all kinds, music, fishing and hiking the trails of Kansas City.

The celebration of Kris’ life will be held 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kris’ memory to the National MS Society (nationalmssociety.org).
