RHS FFA banquet celebrates students

Filled with 130 students, parents and supporters – the Richmond High School (RHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter hosted its end-of-year banquet this past week. “Our focus for tonight is to congratulate our members for the hard work and dedication they have displayed throughout the year,” Allison Coats, FFA officer team president, said as she welcomed the crowd. “We would also like to express our appreciation for the time and effort exhibited by the many parents, teachers and administrators that are in attendance tonight.” Following the invocation by Richmond FFA Chaplain-elect Sam Curtis, guest speaker Jodi Robinson, alumni and Missouri FFA Secretary, spoke about her confidence journey. “I realized that at some point in the year – not sure when it happened — I set aside my fear, anxieties and insecurities and was just me.
