Chamber Easter event deemed a success
The Second Annual Easter Eggs-Po was deemed a success by Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce Director Renee Kellerman, saying $746 was raised for the Christmas fund.
“It’s not as much as last year, but it was still a wonderful event where people gave positive feedback and want to continue on next year,” she said. “The community loves it.”
Kellerman said although in and out-house events take a lot of time and energy to conduct, it’s good to see the community engaging.
Community members and business owners are encouraged to participate in the chamber. Kellerman says those who volunteer are welcome.
“You don’t have to be a member, but if someone wants to get involved – this is the way. We have volunteers, like Lacie Bozarth and her girls. We’ve had nearly 10 new members in the last six to eight weeks,” mentioned Kellerman.
