Police Chief Chad Burnine of the Richmond Police Department reported the following incidents handled recently by the department. THURSDAY, APRIL 23 At 2:57 a.m., in the area of Chapel Drive and Slumber Lane, while conducting business checks, an officer discovered vandalism. Investigation continues. At 1:42 p.m., in the 400 block of East South Street, a complainant reported an assault. The victim did not wish to pursue charges and no further action was taken. FRIDAY, APRIL 24 At 7:15 p.m., in the 500 block of West Lexington Street, an officer arrested a 38 year old man from Richmond for allowing two dogs to run at large. A case will be sent to the city prosecutor’s office for further action. At 10:22 p.m., in the 800 block of Slumber Lane, a complainant reported an assault.
