Holy Week Lunches call for movement to ‘return’
“A Movement of God, Returning to the Kingdom.” This was the theme for the annual event Holy Week Lunches, held April 3-6 and sponsored by the Richmond Ministerial Alliance. As the event’s name implies, there was a great deal of food each day at noon, along with a time of worship music, followed by a message from Scriptures. Volunteers from multiple local churches donated their skills, time, resources and their desires to serve others.

On Monday, the host church, First Baptist Church of Richmond, provided the meal, while Christian Fellowship Ministry brought the music and the message. Patrick Purcell led worship songs, setting the mood for Mark Guy to deliver a message on the theme of Returning to Recognition of God.
