Women’s chapter fills Easter eggs for Richmond Rec Department
Gamma Theta Chapters Beta Sigma Phi is a sorority dedicated to helping Ray County residents. The group recently assisted in filling Easter eggs for the Richmond Recreational Department’s Easter egg hunt.
“This group helping out is a tremendous help to the Parks and Recreation Department and our community. They have stuffed eggs for us for several years now,” said city recreation director Hayley Williams, CPRP CPO. “We had around 8,000 eggs.”
Williams said other businesses made donations as well, including: Max Ford, Richmond Harps, Richmond Walmart, Ray County Hospital, American Legion Post 237, Linda’s Floral, the State Bank, Richmond Kiwanis, Richmond Family Clinic, Reece Nichols-Williams & Associates-Richmond Real Estate Agency, Richmond Rotary Club VFW Post 4398, Daddy’s 10-13 Diner, Oswald Crow Agency, Richmond Masonic Lodge, Richmond McDonalds and Richmond Sonic.
