Lessons gleaned from latest Super Bowl

High heat, drop kicks, random observations and points that amuse are all part of the wide, wide world of sports at the community and national levels.
As a longtime Kansas City Chiefs fan, watching Kansas City’s 38-35 comeback victory over Philadelphia Sunday night at State Farm Stadium in Super Bowl LVII on television was obviously emotionally rewarding.
It was mentally rewarding, too – as was monitoring some of the media coverage leading up to it.
I harvested some valuable lessons from my mental and emotional toil in the soybean field that was this year’s Super Bowl (with planting season around the corner, it seems fitting to use farming imagery). I share some of them here:
