On Tuesday night, Sara Brungardt, Kelly Jaggars and Alli Powell got to experience playing a regular-season volleyball match in the Richmond High School gym for the last time. With their teammates, the three seniors played Cameron to close the regular season. Before dropping the best-of-five match 3-0 (25-16, 25-13, 25-11), the Spartans honored Brungardt, Jaggars and Powell with a Senior Night ceremony. “It’s just kind of like a nice way to … wrap up my whole season. … I’ve been playing volleyball since (the) fourth grade and it’s like the end of a chapter, and it’s just really awesome to have all my family and my friends here to able to share that with,” Brungardt said. Jaggars liked having the chance to bid “a formal goodbye to everybody,” she said. “It was kind of tough, but I’m glad we got to do it,” Jaggars said.
