It’s rivalry time for Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) in varsity 8-man football – and time to get reacquainted with an old coach. The Aggies (2-4 overall) will face undefeated Orrick Friday at Norborne. Orrick is coached by former NHC coach and Richmond High School alumnus Kirk Thacker (see related story). “Orrick is a big rivalry for these guys and it’s a game they really want to win,” NHC coach Andrew Watson said Monday by phone. “And so, … it doesn’t take a whole lot of motivating for these guys to get fired up for this week, and we’re excited to play a good football team.” Playing their former coach “comes up” in the Aggies’ conversations, according to Watson.
