Aggies work through injury bug during loss to Raiders

The Aggies felt the effects of the injury bug during their Sept. 9 46-6 road loss to undefeated North Shelby, according to Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) varsity 8-man football coach Andrew Watson. “Some injuries kind of got the best of our defensive backfield,” Watson said Monday by phone. “We were down (a) couple starting corners and … just started some young guys at defensive back. … They played well and made some defensive plays, but … (the) first time starting on Friday night against a team like that, … their receivers kind of got the best of us as the game wore on.” NHC played some young guys on offense, too, Watson said. One of them was quarterback Zach Deitch.
