The Aggies felt the effects of the injury bug during their Sept. 9 46-6 road loss to undefeated North Shelby, according to Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC) varsity 8-man football coach Andrew Watson. “Some injuries kind of got the best of our defensive backfield,” Watson said Monday by phone. “We were down (a) couple starting corners and … just started some young guys at defensive back. … They played well and made some defensive plays, but … (the) first time starting on Friday night against a team like that, … their receivers kind of got the best of us as the game wore on.” NHC played some young guys on offense, too, Watson said.
