Richmond chamber elects new board members

The Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce has just elected its board members for the coming year. Returning for a second term are Samantha Booth from Hometown Pizza, Jackie Farmer from Missouri Farm & Home Savings and Brian Rice from the Richmond News. New this year is Christal Milligan from Oak Ridge Assisted Living. The four members will begin a three-year term in October. Shona Moore from Oswald Crow, as runner-up, will fill an open seat on the board and serve a one-year term. Bouncing back in 2022, the chamber struggled for a few years from COVID. Led by its director, Renee Kellerman, the chamber has hosted many activities this past year, including some luncheons focused on economic development and has reintroduced the Chamber After Hours social event. “Renee has done an outstanding job reigniting the chamber and bringing it back to play a vital role in Richmond’s business development and growth.
