William J. “Bill” Manley, 78, of Rayville, died Friday, July 22, 2022, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. 

Bill was born on May 31, 1944, in Kansas City, the son of Harry Eugene and Hazel Ruth (Johnson) Manley.  He was united in marriage to Pauline Henry of Lexington on April 16, 1966; she survives of the home. 

Additional survivors include: son, Kevin Manley of Gladstone, and daughter, Renea (Jim) Macaluso of Parkville. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rose Alice Callahan. 

Bill was a 1962 graduate of Richmond High School.  After high school, he attended the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, known back then as School of Mines.  Bill then worked for Dart Trucking.  After that career, he had his own painting company with his son.  Bill enjoyed hunting, building, and working. He also enjoyed the outdoors and coin collecting.  Bill was a wonderful son, husband, and father.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
