RICHMOND - Over the next few months, Ray County Memorial Hospital will work with area providers to update the 2019 Ray County Community Health Needs Assessment. “We are seeking input from community members regarding the health care needs in order to complete the 2022 (assessment),” hospital information states. The hospital hired VVV Consultants LLC, an independent research firm from Olathe, Kansas, to conduct this countywide research. “The goal of this assessment update is to understand progress in addressing community health needs cited in ... both the 2016 and 2019 assessment reports, while collecting up-to-date community health perceptions and ideas,” hospital information states. A community survey has been developed to accomplish this work. The hospital asks the public to access and fill out the survey by June 10 on the hospital website or Facebook page. A town hall meeting will follow the survey.
