John Joseph Sanders, Jr.
John Joseph Sanders, Jr., 66, of Richmond, died Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
John was born on May 5, 1956, in WaKeeney, KS, the son of John Joseph and Donna Marie (Riedel) Sanders. He was united in marriage to Bridget A. Courtney of Rosedale on July 25, 1987; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: his mother, Donna of Polo; daughter, Courtney Sanders (Vincent Nguyen) of Denver, CO; son, John Joseph “Dani” Sanders of Richmond; his grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; and his faithful companions, Sammy and Bo.
He was preceded in death by his father.
John had his master’s degree in business and worked in Aerospace Industries as a level 3 NDT. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. John was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Richmond and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved sports and was an avid Chiefs, Royals, and Kansas Jayhawks fan. John enjoyed traveling.

Visitation with funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M., with services to follow at 11:00 A.M.
