Central Missouri Repertory performs ‘Alice in Wonderland’ at Farris Theatre
WARRENSBURG – The University of Central Missouri’s Central Missouri Repertory Theatre will present “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll and adapted by Kathryn Schultz Miller to the public in Richmond.
The show is at 10 a.m. May 26 at The Farris Theatre in Richmond.
UCM Theatre Chairwoman Ashley Miller-Scully, who doubles as the play’s production manager, said choosing Richmond as the place to start the repertory’s season “just worked out that way.”
“We are going to about seven different locations, and as I was calling around and scheduling dates, it just worked the best for the people of Richmond,” Scully said Monday. “We’re excited about that.”
Everyone is welcome and Farris Theatre staff also will make specific, group invitations.
“A lot of the summer school kids are coming,” Scully said. “We sent (the Farris) posters to put up around town.”
