RICHMOND – Sophomore Brook Weber might have wondered if she would get blown away when she ran the anchor leg for the girls 800- and 400-meter relays Tuesday at the Hoot Middleton Invitational. Not by the competition, though. Rather, by fierce gusts at the Richmond High School track. “It was very hard,” Weber said. “I almost got pushed out of one of the lanes because it was so windy.” Weber fought through the wind to help Richmond take the girls 800 relay in 1 minute, 53.91 seconds – the lone event the Spartans won. And she helped Richmond take second in the 400 relay. “I feel like it was my adrenaline (that kept me going),” she said. “I just kept on pushing and knew that I needed to get my team up a place.” Weber’s relay team in both races included sophomore Kaylee Pugh and senior Abrey Oldham. Individually, Pugh placed second in the 100 in 13.99 and tied Kansas City Central’s Alzaria Lewis for fourth in the 200 by finishing in 29.38. Oldham finished fourth in the 100 and sixth…
