Tie in school race; city water issue wins
Body
Four candidates competed for two Richmond School Board seats in Tuesday’s elections, with Karmen Dooley the clear winner for one seat, but two candidates tying for the second seat.
“I’ll call the people in and see what they want to do,” the county’s chief election official, Clerk Glenda Powell, said Wednesday. “They can have a special election or they can flip a coin.”
Special elections cost taxpayers.
