Lyndsey Jo Vance of Linn Creek, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach, MO.  Lyndsey was born on April 6, 1985, in Richmond, the daughter of Michael Vance and Donna Vance. 

She is survived by her parents Michael (Tobi) Vance of Richmond and Donna Vance (Keith White) of Higginsville; her daughter, Lilly Yocum of Oak Grove; brothers, Jon Vance of Kansas City, and James (Chandler) Vance of Liberty; sister, Amy (Corey) Weir of Richmond; and step-brothers Josh (Stacy) Higgs and Troy (Rachael) Higgs, of Blue Springs. She is also survived by a niece and nephew, Alex Vance, and Bella Weir along with a host of other relatives and friends. 

Lyndsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, CJ & Maxine Mallott and paternal grandparents Vern & Florence Vance, and her beloved dog Lucy. 

Lyndsey was a 2003 graduate of Richmond High School.  She loved her daughter with all her heart. Lyndsey was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. She had an absolutely beautiful smile which matched her outgoing spirit.  She also loved movies especially horror movies and she also had a great love of animals. 

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Friends of the Friendless in Lexington, MO or to the donor’s choice.  They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190 Richmond, MO 64085. 

Visitation with memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. and memorial services following at 3p.m in the funeral home chapel.
