H-C boys win, girls fall
TINA – Hardin-Central extended its latest winning streak Tuesday night in varsity boys basketball.
Sparked by 20 points from Brayden Schick and 15 from fellow senior Korbin Pugh, the Bulldogs downed host school Tina-Avalon 51-43 in the Carroll-Livingston Activities Association Tournament. The tournamentopening victory put the Bulldogs at 14-4 overall with a four-game winning streak as they entered the next round Thursday against Braymer.
In other tournament news, the Hardin-Central girls opened with a 36-17 loss Tuesday to Brunswick. They were scheduled to play Hale/Bosworth on Wednesday in the consolation-bracket semifinals.
