Complex issues require hard work to solve, making them too difficult to use to win political campaigns, so politicians fall back on the tried-and-true practice of faking problems, blowing them out of proportion and then offering solutions to those phantom problems. In other words, “Witch! Witch!” Many people can recall demons some politicians summoned to combat “outcome-based education” in the late 1980s. OBE is based on creating lessons designed to guide students to reach learning goals – a reasonable expectation used around the world. But some member of the far right said no. “Depending on the version, (opponents) insist, OBE is either nonsensical mumbo jumbo or part of something very sinister,” Peter Schrag wrote for The American Prospect. Schrag quoted Rutherford Institute President John W.
