Robert Leroy Thomas, 80 passed away October 15, 2021 peacefully at his home in Richmond. Robert was born on February 25, 1941, in Half Rock, the son of Everett and Virginia (Curtis) Thomas.

Robert leaves a sister, Lillian (Joseph) Hendricks of Excelsior Springs; two nieces, Brenda (Todd) Hamilton of Georgia and Dawn (Susan) Hendricks of Richmond, VA; one nephew, Scott (Cheryl) Hendricks of Liberty; several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert graduated Princeton High School where he lived most of his life. He moved to Richmond around 2001, to be closer to family. He worked at the Shelter workshop until he retired. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Ministries, where he had several friends.

Most of all the family would like to send a big THANK YOU for the caregivers and staff that helped take care of him. He loved you all and considered you some of his best friends. A special thanks to Donnie King who took him fishing and out to the farm and would just take him for rides in the country.
