Geneva Camille Stevens
Geneva was born on February 23, 1930, the daughter of Willie R. and Lillian (Bandy) Bales. She was united in marriage to Leonard E. Stevens in 1944; he preceded her in death in 1972.
Survivors include: 1 son, Larry C. (Kathleen) Stevens of Raytown; 5 grandchildren, Larry “Chris” (Melissa) Stevens of Hardin and Leonard “Willie” (Jammie) Stevens of New Mexico, Wendy L. Abbott of Richmond, Megan (Floyd) Hader of Blue Springs, Eric P. (Kristi) Kemp of Edmond OK; grandson- in- law, Rick Adams; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter, Lucy Rose.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Ricky Lynn Stevens, and granddaughter, Julie Adams, brothers, Wilbert E. Bales, Raymond E. Bales and Willie R. Bales and special friend Leonard Seek.
Geneva was reared and educated in Hardin. In addition to being a wife, mother, and home maker, Geneva also worked as a nurse aid, and as a seamstress for Dunbrook Manufacturing in Lexington. Geneva enjoyed traveling
