Herbert Ralph Howard, 87, of Richmond, formerly of Braymer, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

Mr. Howard was born on December 23, 1933, in Hamilton, the son of Walter Leon and Pauline (Connor) Howard.  Herbert was united in marriage to Georgia “Arnelle” Kepley of Braymer on March 15, 1952; she preceded him in death on February 12, 2013.

Survivors include: daughter, Norma Corle and her husband Marty of Richmond; and his companion, Billie Lee VanTrump of Richmond.

Herbert was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Herbert was reared and educated in Hamilton and graduated from the Hamilton High School.  He then attended Barber College in Kansas City.  Herbert would go on to practice his profession for 40 years, 37 in Richmond and 3 in Braymer.  He enjoyed bowling, fishing, working in his yard, and taking his dog, Bosley, for walks and rides in his car.  He was of the Christian faith.
