Linda Lea Yallaly
Linda Lea Yallaly, 81, of Carrollton, died Friday, August 6, 2021, at Life Care Center in Carrollton.
Linda was born on June 3, 1940, in Richmond, the daughter of Marvin Elmer “M.E.” Paine and Virginia Francis Davis. She was united in marriage to Dorris Wayne “D.W.” Yallaly of Waverly on June 14, 1957; and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2020.
Survivors include: son, Richard (Joey) Yallaly of Richmond, daughter, Roberta Yallaly of Gilliam; three grandchildren: Ashley (Dillon) Williamson, Michael Wayne (Amanda) Arms, and Derek (Cassie) Arms; six great-grandchildren: Colton Wayne Arms, Laura Arms, Haylie Arms, Hannah Arms, Kylie King, and Everleigh Arms.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda was reared and educated in Grandview. She was a housewife and homemaker, while also working outside the home. She had been employed by the Richmond School District, Orbseal and the City of Richmond. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family. She was the matriarch of the family, and she knew it! She was so proud of her family and loved to cook for them. She was a great cook and made the best vegetable soup! Linda loved to square dance and to sing and even performed in “Sweet Adeline” at the Farris Theater. She was of the Christian faith and knew her Lord and Savior.
