Barbara Louise Proffitt, 75, of Richmond, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021.  

She was born on Saturday, April 20, 1946, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, the daughter of the late Howard and the late Mary (née Reynolds) Sharp. On Dec. 18, 1965, she married her husband, Phil Proffitt.  

Barbara enjoyed genealogy and crafting. She very much loved hanging out and spending time with her grandchildren.  

Survivors include her husband Phil Proffitt of Richmond; son Todd and wife Laura Proffitt of Fredonia, NY; son Greg and wife Shae Proffitt of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren Chloe Proffitt, Blake Proffitt, Rachel Proffitt, and Ryan Proffitt; brother Corkey and wife Trudy Sharp, of Liberty, Missouri; brother Bill and wife Betty Milton of Colorado; and brother Gene and Sally Milton of Phoenix, Arizona.
