KANSAS CITY – When Ray County’s mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicle lumbers into a suburban cul-de-sac in Clay County, there is good reason to expect bad news. Indeed, a big load smashed down on the heads of a Kansas City motorcycle gang, the Flying Bandits. Down from the back of the MRAP stepped the Flying Bandits’ unholy nightmare, the personification of hellfire and brimstone, one of the baddest of the Midwest’s badass bikers, the dreaded Gerry Spangler, who also happens to be an octogenarian biker chick… And scene. Sheriff Scott Childers and members of his staff brought the MRAP to a Kansas City-North neighborhood a few miles south of Excelsior Springs to assist actor David Tittone, who also directs and cowrites for Kansas City-based Paradise Lost Films.
