Dorothy Mae Cooper (91) of Independence, Missouri passed away June 29th, 2021. She was born July 11th, 1929, in Clinton, MO to George J. and Anna A. (Harrelson) Butler. She married Stanton F. Cooper of Henrietta on February 1st, 1947. Dorothy worked in the Richmond community for several years of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanton, and daughter Patricia Ann Bullock.

Dorothy is survived by a son, daughter, and their spouses, both of Independence, Missouri. She has grandchildren, great step grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Dorothy’s wishes are to be cremated and then buried with her husband at Sunny Slope Cemetery.
