Katherine Louise Williams, 75, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Research Hospital in Kansas City.

Katherine was born on Feb. 18, 1946, in Richmond, the daughter of Cecil Hutton and Emma (Campbell) McHenry.

Katherine was an LPN from 1978 to 2020 and attended Jennie Lund School of Practical Nursing in Independence.  She was a former employee of Shirkey Leisure Acres and several other area hospitals of Richmond.  Katherine was associated with the Rebecca #27 O.E.S. of Richmond.  She loved spending time with family and friends.  She considered several ladies as her daughters that she had a bond with, including Keesha Johnson with whom she loved her and her children just the same.

Survivors include her mother, Emma McHenry of Leavenworth, KS; three sons, Ralph (Jennifer) Price of Chicago, IL, Corey (Kim) Price of Liberty, and Rance Williams of Richmond; 12 grandchildren, Kim Kenser, Rashadd Price, Lorenzo Price, MakInzy Kurtz, Jake Gray, Jada Gray, Dominic Williams, Ashanti Price, Donivin Williams, Darius Finnell, Keronique Thuston, and Angelica Finnell; 12 great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Omar, Bryce, Mia, Paisley, Silas, Royal, Legend, King, Asher, Avery, and Lennox; and sister, Jennifer Taylor of Kansas City, KS.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Roger Hines; and her brother, Kenneth Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021, at St. John’s CME Church in Richmond.  Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in Richmond Memory Gardens.
