TV series animator creates Mushroom Festival logo
ATLANTA – If Inspector Clouseau and Veronica Mars had a baby – in addition to being a beautiful and inept bundle of “What the stink?” – the full-grown outcome might resemble Archer, the horndog CIA contractor.
Archer is the title cartoon character for the TV comedy series that employs animator Savannah Hamilton. He is known for inciteful observations, such as, “I’m scared if I stop (drinking) all at once, the cumulative hangover will literally kill me.”
A Richmond High School graduate, Hamilton, 24, said she has enjoyed art as far back as she can remember.
“It was something I was drawn to just as a hobby,” she said, no pun intended. “Even in, like, preschool and kindergarten, I was always doodling, and my teachers would pay attention to that. … I genuinely loved it and I got really good at it.”
Hamilton’s childhood oodles of doodles continued at Richmond High School.
“I had several art teachers through the years who would help me,” she said.
