RICHMOND – Auditors gave the city a clean audit and praised the administration’s handling of finances in the past fiscal year. Rita Carpenter of Westbrook & Co. presented the audit on March 9 to the City Council. The audit covered the fiscal year ending Sept. 30. Carpenter thanked city Finance Director Rebecca Hoeflicker, City Administrator Tonya Willim, Mayor Mike Wright and city staff. “We wouldn’t be able to facilitate such a great audit were it not for all the hard work Rebecca and staff expend pulling all the information needed together,” Willim said. “We feel good about the process we have in place and continue to move forward.
