COLUMBIA – Mason Freece and Jude Rumbaugh have no more races to run this season.

The two Ray Countians finished their respective high school cross country seasons at state competition, held Nov. 5-7 at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course. Rumbaugh, a Richmond senior, placed 91st in the Class 3 race with his time of 18 minutes, 38.5 seconds.

Freece, a Hardin-Central junior, placed 92nd in the Class 1 race in 19:39.9.

It was Freece’s second trip to state. He placed 93rd in 2019.
