SNS takes steps to ensure mental well-being
A local organization has made important progress in promoting the health and well-being of community members.
Special Needs Services (SNS) in Ray County recently held a successful fundraising event at Branded Banquet Hall. The event aimed to gather financial support for their new pilot program, Stabilization Support Services (SSS).
The program was created by SNS to respond to the critical need for enhanced mental health resources due to the ongoing overdose crisis, which has profoundly affected communities across the country.
This program serves as a pilot initiative lasting 90 days, specifically aimed at assisting adults who are experiencing significant mental health challenges and may be deteriorating in their mental well-being. Through a structured and supportive environment, the SSS program will provide comprehensive stabilization services over a 12-week period.
