Senior Life Solutions celebrates 10 years of care
For the past decade, Ray County Hospital’s Senior Life Solutions program has provided a place for older adults to find help, hope and understanding when facing the emotional challenges that often accompany aging.
To mark its 10-year milestone, the hospital hosted an open house celebrating the program’s ongoing impact and the partnerships that make it possible. Program Director Lacey Sullenger noted the event was an opportunity to thank the community for its support and highlight the continued need for mental health services among seniors.
“Senior Life Solutions is an outpatient hospital program designed to support the mental health of older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, or other mental challenges often associated with aging,” said Sullenger. “Our voluntary program includes individual and group therapy, psychiatry, medication management and health screens.”
