The Richmond City Council has approved an ordinance to establish a procedure to disclose potential conflicts of interest and substantial interest for certain municipal officials. This ordinance is approved annually as required by the Missouri Ethics Commission.

In a separate matter, an ordinance amending the 2023-24 fiscal year budget for the city was approved to reflect changes in revenues and expenses was approved. City Administrator Tonya Willim reported the 2024-2025 budget should be ready to present to the finance committee soon.

It was also reported the high-service pump at the water plant has been repaired and is up and running.
