At 10:31 a.m., Samuel Hierseman, 21, of Excelsior Springs, MO, was arrested for domestic assault.

At 1:44 p.m., Mason L. Shearer, 18, of Excelsior Springs, MO, was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs – 1st degree – 1st offense; endangering the welfare of a child- 1st degree – serious physical injury – no sexual contact; abuse or neglect of a child – serious emotional or physical injury – no sexual contact.

At 5:29 p.m., Melanie Deanne Avery, 54, of Lawson, MO, was arrested for owner operating motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility – 2nd /subsequent offense; exceeded posted speed limit (exceeded by 1-5 MPH); operating motor vehicle with vision reducing material applied to windshield/ excessive vision reducing material applied to window; possession of controlled substance X2; unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia – prior drug offense.
